I have found that translations in Hindi for very basic can be alright but it fails to rally translate the meaning. We are not dealing with transliteration but the meaning of the sentences which are typed in English, but I have found they are more of verbatim. I would like to add for the corrections but this site does not give me the place to really do it. I can not replace the words in Hindi for the correction. I would need some help. So that I can help. I would like to add to Google for Hindi. To make it better. I have found Google is better in Arabic and other languages but its really bad in Hindi. I suppose India and Hindi is not so important. Possibly Google can pay a few bucks for the guys who can really make it better in Hindi. I suppose it will not happen till people like me insist. Google is possibly good in other languages but not in Hindi. I appreciate that it provides so much for Indian languages, but it will be a great source if it took care of Indian languages. However difficult they could be, they can not be difficult as Chines.
I am not a linguist but I can certainly can say, being a professional translator, Google can do better. Devanagari and other scripts in Indian languages can certainly be better and profitable if it seriously tried it. I heard, Google has tried to immensely improve its translation, but its nowhere visible in Indian language. I can vouch for it. I hope and believe it will be done and I will be happy for it and all the millions and millions of people in India. I hope and only hope for quick improvement. I only can say to Google, pay a little to more to be the best. Results - meaning Profits, will be immense.
