For Google engineers: I love using chat, however I do not like the Phonetic Translation being automatically on the text box. With the old method I could go back and forth between languages at will. Now I either have to waste the click every time I switch the language to stop the phonetic translation, and if I forget to and type something, and then switch languages it keeps the wrong (phonetically translated) text. I then have to delete, switch the language and start over. Very inconvenient.
