The news that Latin was added to the list of languages was great. However, I have a website that really needs Latin to English translation functionality, but whenever I try to embed a Google Translate Gadget into my website, Latin is NOT included in the drop down list of available languages to translate from :(
Can anyone point me to a solution? I want to achieve an embedded Google Translator, already set up to translate from Latin to English, (so I do not need From and To buttons, only a Translate button), so my website users can just paste some Latin text into a textbox, press the translate button, and up comes the English translation. Right now I am simply linking to the Google Translate website using an iFrame, like this: <iframe name="frame1" src="http://translate.google.com/?sl=la&tl=en#la| en|" frameborder="0" scrolling="auto" style="width:100%;height: 410px;"></iframe> But what I REALLY want is an embedded translator rather than a link to an external translator. Can it be done? Rock -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "General" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
