Thanks for responding Derek, but could you clarify why you believe this is the correct behaviour?
For example, why is "Espanol" the correct translation of "English" when going from Spanish to French? (http://translate.google.co.uk/? hl=en&tab=wT#es|fr|english ) The right translation should be just leaving it as "English" since it's not a Spanish word, or at a stretch "Anglais" if Google's being clever and acting in an MS-style "we know what you want better than you do" way. In no way can the Spanish word for Spanish be the right answer.
