Suggestion: Provide optional "back translation", which takes the result text and puts it through a reverse translation. This could help see how a native speaker of the target language would understand the result, and would help in tweaking until the intended result is obtained.
E.g. I translate sentence Se from English to French, obtaining resulting sentence Rf. If "translate back" is selected, then automatically a second results Re is show which has taken French Rf and used the translate engine to translate into English giving result Re. If I did a translation with the option (say checkbox) unselected, then selecting it would automatically do the reverse/back translation.
