Hi Xi, The freezing occurs ONLY on the translator page itself. I am now updated to Chrome 8.0.552.11latest beta). I only translate from english to arabic(toggle back and forth but the toggle no longer works). The browser does not freeze; only the translator interphase freezes and will not do anything. NOT THE BROWSER. IT WORKS ON ALL OTHER OF MY SITES JUST GREAT.
As mentioned the translator page(interphase) works just perfectly on the latest Safari, firefox and Internet explorer 8. Signing in/out of google does not help nor does clearing cookies. Rebooting does not help. Today it is partially working: it will not auto-translate but will manually. More confusing it did work perfectly last week, all week, and now again will not do anything=frozen. There must be something that this version of chrome cannot FULLY read in the basic language code of the translator interphase and therefore does not format correctly. Any ideas for me, Xi??
