Hi. Just a quick question. I've tried to find some answers on how the tts engine is built. What is the tts engin in Google Translate based upon? It sounds like diphone synthesis.. but can you state that it is. What database is used? Does Google have it's own database with diphones or is some bigger database used? Where can I read more about the engine and the sounds that are beeing used for tts?
