I am horrified to learn that both IE and FF are requesting translation from pages in my native language, when I NEVER have accepted this function. I don't even have Google Toolbar installed. How can both browsers just accept code to be installed on my computer, that I'm unable to disable or even uninstall.
If someone wrote a virus this way, every single computer on this earth would be compromised. The invasion of privacy by this program is a staggering example of arrogance. How on earth do I get rid of this annoyance? How is this bar removed, and what underlying files are used? And why isn't there an uninstall feature? Why am I forced to use a function I'll never ever use? Some have suggested there's money involved and companies are requesting money to get it removed. How can it get so far? What were you thinking?
