I've looked at the virtual keyboard for Irish - and it comes up as Africa Latin. It isn't just that the keyboard is mis-named, it's that it displays the wrong characters in Ctrl+Alt mode. Irish has only two differences from the English alphabet: it doesn't use the letters j,k,q,w,x,y or z, and it uses the fada (acute accent), which is only applied on the vowels, so: á, é, í, ó and ú. All of these can be typed using the Alt Gr key. So, you don't really need a virtual keyboard, and the current keyboard would confuse those are unfamiliar with the language.
