On your specific question - no, you do not need to mention Google
anywhere. Although it would be nice to mention us :-)

Generally speaking the Terms require you to use the API as it is meant
to be used. So for example, you cannot download the visualizations and
client API to your own servers and load them from there (as some of
the threads here inquired about).

Since this is a legal related question, I'd like to just clarify that
what binds you are the terms as specified in detail in the Terms of
Service page. From your question I cannot tell if you have other
specific issues, so I cannot relate to those unless you are more
specific. If you have specific questions beyond the above, please send
them.
