Hi As for listening to events, currently we have only support for events of clicking annotation flags. You can find more details in the docs.
As for hiding the timeline, I suppose you refer to the bottom part of the chart, that lets you select the zoom area. If so, we will soon add an option to hide this part of the chart, but it is not released yet.
