I'm in the process of building an organizational chart for Columbus State University. It was manageable enough at first, but it's gotten far too large to be of any use for an over-view now, and I have yet to add data on the individual colleges.
When everything is collapsed there is no reason for the single node to remain 2/3rds of the way across the screen and still require scrolling, and when nodes are expanded the children should remain directly adjacent until and unless they are expanded enough to require more space. Is there any way to prevent this excessive use of white- space?
