There is no single answer to that question. MySQL itself doesn't have a limit, but the database engines you can choose to use with it do. I believe the default engine has a limit of 2^32 (roughly 4 billion) rows. Most likely you will run into disk space, file size, memory, or CPU limitations before running into a limit on the number of rows.
