Yes, you should be able to use any of the Controls <https://google-developers.appspot.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/controls> with a Calendar chart. When building the ChartWrapper for the Calendar, make sure you set the "view" parameter to exclude the columns you don't want the Calendar to use.
