Since my original post, I've tried importing the datetimes with raw
millisecond values and parameters in the Date constructor ("*new
Date(1436816502123)*" and "*new Date(2015,6,13,19,41,42)*" respectively)
but the polynomial trendline still shows a straight line. I also tried
creating the dataset using JavaScript DataTable object literal notation,
per the Date and Times section of the Chart Data documentation--still get
straight lines.
Any feedback from the Google folks here on whether this is expected
behavior or a bug (in my approach or the chart engine)? I need to make a
call whether to continue using Google Charts for this data.
