Are you talking about the chart gridlines? 

Those can be defined in the chart options and can be applied to most 
charts. You need to look at what the various charts are capable of in the 
"Configuration options" (right-hand menu) of whatever type of chart you are 
using in the left-menu of

Depending on what you want to do, Stack Overflow has some nice tips such as 
removing the lines altogether -
