I think you might be thinking about GWT rather then gwt-incubator.
gwt-incubator releases only has two sub folders in it:


   1.
   
http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit-incubator/source/browse/#svn/releases/1.5,
   which has the gwt-incubator code that is compatable with gwt 1.5.
   2.
   
http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit-incubator/source/browse/#svn/releases/1.4,
   which has the gwt-incubator code that is compatable with gwt 1.4.


gwt-incubator trunk will have the gwt 1.6 support, so there are currently no
plans for a releases/1.6.  Let me know if any of that doesn't make sense!
