Hi Pavel, In the Maps API, there is an additional note along with setImage()
Requests the image specified by the url to be set as the foreground image for this marker. Note that neither the print image nor the shadow image are adjusted. Therefore this method is primarily intended to implement highlighting or dimming effects, rather than drastic changes in marker's appearances. (Since 2.75) ------- You didn't give the details of any MarkerOptions or Icon settings you used to construct the marker. One thing I have noted in the Icon API is that if you override the image for the Icon, you must also provide an ImageMap. Could that be the problem here?
