And another thing to add re DataGrid. One gotcha is you must be careful about setting the height. The best solution is to use LayoutPanels. Give the DataGrid an explicit height. Place the DataGrid in a LayoutPanel with a width and height of 100%. Alternatively ensure you have an unbroken chain of LayoutPanels from the root to your DataGrid . In the later case you should use a RootLayoutPanel.
