Hi Evan,

I'm an active contributor to GWT-Material, and what I can say about the
future is this: the vast majority of widgets from the GWT Material extends
a single component (MaterialWidget). When the moment comes for us to
support something that's not the old Widget system, we will migrate it.

Several new components are being built having this in mind. We are
supporting the Widget system now because we want a seamless integration
with the existing widgets and projects. We are aware that this will change
in the future, and we are getting ready for it.

The idea is that GWT Material users will be able to continue to use the
framework, no matter how the underlying system will become. ;-)
