I don't have details (ETA, etc.) but I can assure you Elemental 2 is not vaporware. There are legal issues on Google side before opensourcing things, and work to make things "consumable" by us outside Google (they have their own build tool and source organization so things need to be extracted and transformed before they can be loaded to GitHub); but it's coming (I had discussions with Googlers on how best to do it) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GWT Users" group.
