This is not allowed:

<g:HTML>
<img srcset="" src="/static/images/codi-logo.svg" ui:field="logo"
height="37px"/>
</g:HTML>

It has to be an HTMLPanel. Ie:

<g:HTMLPanel>
<img srcset="" src="/static/images/codi-logo.svg" ui:field="logo"
height="37px"/>
</g:HTMLPanel>

HTML is for arbitrary HTML. HTMLPanel can attach child widgets.
