Salvador, I switched that around and I'm still getting the same error. For good measure, I blew away all the GWT output directories, rebuild the class files, pruned down the class path, etc. I'm still getting this exception in Firefox 3, web-mode, the FIRST TIME I call the Service:

The service is held in a singleton. I've used a singleton pattern before with good results, so I don't think that's it?
