Hi Marioja,
Could you check what version of Java you're using? JDK 1.6 update 14 had a
problem with symptoms like you describe.

You can check the version being used under:
- Run > Run configurations
- Expand Web Application on the side bar
- Select one of its children, click on the JRE tab
