That happened to me twice. Just need to look if your project is complete (.html, .css, web-inf, meta-inf, compiled code of client side) inside the folder: <your_workspace>/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.wst.server.core/ tmp0/wtpwebapps/your_project_server
Maybe, the .html is missing there. Just copy the missing files there and everything will function fine again!!
