My concern is i have downloaded apache-tomcat-6.0.29 and apache-
tomcat-7.0.5. I am trying to install tomcat, whenever i double click
on the .exe files from the bin folder:
tomcat7.exe and catalina.bat -- Dos prompt comes up and goes away
like aflicker, nothing happens
tomcat7w.exe -- Error thrown "The specified service does not exist as
an installed service.
unable to open the
service 'tomcat6'.
Can anyone suggest me what to do. I am stuck and not able to proceed
further.
