As of GWT 2.0 you should use ClientBundle: http://code.google.com/intl/de-DE/webtoolkit/doc/latest/DevGuideClientBundle.html
If you really have to use ImageBundle from GWT 1.6/1.7 you only have to use the @gwt.resource tag if the filename does not match the method name or if the image is in a different path.
