Thanks for the thread dump, but it just raies more questions. There are a huge number of threads shown which seem to be hanging around for some unknown reason. The thread dump has no stack trace for any of them.
Try running Eclipse from command line (or use eclipsec.exe), work a while with GWT Designer and then press Crtl+Break. This should produce a threads dump which you should send to us. As we have been unable to reproduce this on any of our Windows 7 machines, it would also be useful to see an actual test case project (small and self-contained) that will reproduce this.
