The schema indeed is out of date ( http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit/source/browse/trunk/user/src/com/google/gwt/uibinder/resources/com.google.gwt.user.client.ui.xsd) but it's not meant for validation ( http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit/source/browse/trunk/user/src/com/google/gwt/uibinder/resources/UiBinder.xsd ) You might want to both: 1. report a bug against GWT so that the schema is updated 2. and ask on https://groups.google.com/d/forum/google-plugin-eclipse why it's used for validation and how to disable it, and then possibly report a bug against the GPE and/or GWT Designer (depending on what you're using) if asked to do so.
