That is sad to hear :( For me it was always a good starting point combined with JavaDoc + some google fu. However if you can't find an answer, the next best thing is to use this group and ask questions or join ##gwt on irc (freenode). I am not aware of any other documentation of GWT beside blog posts or real books. Hopefully at least your Hyperlink question is now solved.
