Hi Meovino, Our API is actually completely proprietary and was built by us utilizing our own database. It can be used by your site's visitors without them having to have registered with any other services or accounts. It does not incorporate Google Health or any other 3rd- party services (although it does provide Google Maps coordinates for every provider listing, for those interested in mashing up our data with Google Maps).
You can learn more at http://www.doctor.com/api and you're welcome to contact me directly if you're interested in becoming a partner and using the API. While the API is of course free to use, we do approve partners on an individual basis to make sure our data is being used appropriately. Thanks for your interest.
