I have a dilemma regarding how a sequence of medication records for a
given product name are to be percieved. I'll try to keep this simple
by limiting the attributes here.

A medication record may be created from either the website or by
insertion into the profile feed. The only necessary attribute is a
ProductName, but it may also include Directions (dose, route,
frequency), (plus others). Let's suppose this is for ProductName P.

If then another Medication record is created for P, the GH website
seems to treat these as two different medications; for example, they
may have their own separate Directions.

Is there a sense that one would override the other? Based on creation
time perhaps? Or if the latter does not specify Directions, can it be
assumed that directions for the earlier apply?

The way out of that dilemma is to expect that all relevant attributes
are included each time the mediction record for P is created. This
usage is not enforced, so the dilemma remains real.

Consider now that a medication appears for P by virtue of a
fulfillment notice being posted by new a GH-aware medication provider
for this profileID/person. This situation shares the same problem
unless, once again, there is some unstated rules applied, eg specify
all attributes.

It's like each fulfillment applies to its own medication and there is
no sense of a sequence of fulfillments per medication, unless those
medications have identical, not just ProductName, but also directions,
strength, etc.

I hope I'm not laboring this too much, but in an application that
wishes to show "the latest" medication details, how do we interpret
the sequence of medications/fulfillments. Seems that more than P is
required to specify a medication? Or (the only way out) can we expect
all fulfilment providers to specify all relevant information, and the
latest one is THE one?
