Lewis John McGibbney commented on GORA-46:
------------------------------------------

OK so upon testing, the attached nightly ant target fails, this is however not
because the patch is buggy, it is due oto our 'tar' target giving the following
output
{code}
compile-examples:

resolve-test:
     [copy] Warning: /home/lewis/ASF/gora_trunk/gora-tutorial/lib-ext not found.

compile-test:

test-jar:

package:
     [copy] Copying 5 files to
/home/lewis/ASF/gora_trunk/gora-tutorial/build/gora-tutorial/lib
     [copy] Copying 1 file to
/home/lewis/ASF/gora_trunk/gora-tutorial/build/gora-tutorial

BUILD FAILED
/home/lewis/ASF/gora_trunk/build.xml:217:
/home/lewis/ASF/gora_trunk/build/docs/site not found.

Total time: 18 seconds

Can anyone provide insight into whether the tar command has worked in the past
(I'm assuming it did). If needs be I can open a sub-issue and get this sorted
out as well. In the meantime at least we can say that the patch small
attachment is OK.

> We already have a maven type CI build, however adding an ant/ivy build would
> also be nice and would ensure that users preferring the latter option can be
> confident that the software is ant/ivy worthy.
> This issue should add a nightly ant target to build.xml
