A method using dist should work as well as the procmail method. In either case, because we index by "Recieved:" rather than "Date:" fields, the imported messages will be sorted against time of import. I can override the sorting, but there are drawbacks. See discussion at <URL:http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]> Resent headers should not be a problem. If you want, I can send you a copy of the heuristic sorting code.
If you do end up using dist, I'd very much appreciate it if you send me a summary of the commands used, so that I can share the information with others in a similar situation. Jeff
