The software has the following improvements, since last announcement:

  - cleaner code for the "We have a new list" heuristics
  - a new heuristic aimed at recognizing new Majordomo lists
  - cosmeticly prettier makefile
  - MIME attachments now use an icon
  - 50% speedup on search indexing
  - minor code change in PATH to support for RedHat 5.2
  - rebuild tool is now more idiot proof
  - added support for "x-archive-with-date" so that it is
possible for someone to import archives, and still keep
    Received: sorting as the default.
  - slightly finer grained logging (now using three levels)
  - installed analog (web log analysis tool)

In the works - adding new import instructions to the FAQ (including
dist instructions sent in by a user) and figuring out how I want to
split enormous list archives.

In bad news, host site appears to be dropping 30% of their packets
during US daytime, making ssh logins a bitch. Will have more
info next week when I go out to California. Also, I temporarily
sequested some of linux-kernels 30k messages, as it was getting
very unwieldy, and somewhat finicky.
