Hi Zack,
Sounds like a great idea and straightforward to do. If I can find some time I think I'll implement it. (It could be a while; things are pretty hectic; you are welcome to send in a patch.) In the meantime I'm going to CC: this reply to the discussion list, so I don't lose it. Jeff PS VAResearch is a sponsor, but doesn't own or run the service. They provide the net connection, but don't do development, etc. ----------------------------- From: Zack Brown To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Improving VA Research's "The Mail Archive" Hi, Here's my suggestion: instead of those little black dots in front of each mailing list, why not have a color-coded symbol indicating if there is new mail in the archive. A yellow dot could indicate that new mail has come into that mailing list in the last 24 hours, while a red dot could indicate that new mail has come in in the last week. Black dots could mean no new messages for over a week. The reason for this is that a lot of the lists are low traffic, and it would be really fantastic to just be able to look at your page as a whole and know which of those links to follow. Very time saving for those of us who have to keep up with a number of those lists. Be well, Zack
