I'm a new subscriber to the gossip list but I am a long time MLM manager (my main list is 11+ year old cohousing-L with 500 active subs and average 140 messages/month now hosted with mailman with Mhonarc archives at http://www.tigertech.net )
Preliminary question: Where are the gossip list archives? I was searching the mailman-users archives at http://www.mail-archive.com/ and found a message of interest: http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/msg25462.html : # From: Thomas Hochstein # Subject: Re: [Mailman-Users] What is wrong? # Date: Tue, 29 Jun 2004 01:05:59 -0700 I wanted to look for replies and other messages around that time so I clicked on the "Chronological" link which took me to: http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/mail5.html#25462 but displayed the top of page mail5.html . The earliest message on that index page was 7/8/04 and there was no link to earlier messages. Curiously if I edited the url to be http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/mail6.html it had messages from 3 years ago and remember the 6/29 message is available but I can not find an index page that includes it.
