Jeff and I decided to put together a mostly-automated logo submission for 
mailing lists.  On your list's info page [1] you should have a new Custom Logo 
option.  Logos are put into a queue that we'll review (for appropriateness) and 
that we'll then fire off to update the list's logo.  This example [2] shows how 
the logo is placed in the upper left corner and the list's name/info page link 
is moved to the upper right corner where the Mail Archive link usually sits.

Jaf, most likely we aren't going to provide a web interface for updating the 
list data on the info page.  See the FAQ entry [3] to see how to update that 
data (it's up to the list admin to modify the headers going out on the list 
messages).  Embedding those headers in the messages has the added benefit of 
instantly working on other archiving services like GMane.
