Absolutely. I don't think people having @mozilla.org aliases is a
necessary condition for the Mozilla Project going forward: I see it more
as a nice thing to have, rather than a needed thing.

A forum whereby non-paid, trusted, community members can discuss
non-public subjects seems to me to be incredibly important to the health
of the community, and I see it solving some of the problems various
contributors have identified with the community over recent months.
