Well you interrupted my workflow Phillip.

This is really cool to see become reality.

I verify I can run across UTSW and KUMC and see Breast Cancer by SEER AND heart
failure by ICD9 now. While you may not have the site specific factors updated,
we can drill down and see the number with infiltrating ductal carincoma or IDC
NOS (the majority for those with breast cancer).

It's a bit slower than regular HERON i2b2 but considering SNOW has to drive up
and down I-35, it's rather amazing.

Could be the first time someone can interactively query a full tumor registry
across all diagnoses from the EMR.

Was meeting recently with plastic surgery and surgery and mentioning this was
coming.

UTSW's Tumor Registry is also available. There are many differences between
our local terminology and the shrine terminology so not all queries will return
results. We also don't currently have the Site Specific Terminology/data.

Subject: KUMC tumor registry is now on SHRINE for others to query

Hi Everybody,
After coordination with Phillip Reeder at UTSW, Lav on our team has augmented
the tumor registry with the PCORnet/SHRINE ontologies.
https://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/ticket/631

For example, I could run a query of # of patients with Breast Cancer according
to the Registry by SEER and who had Ischemic Heart Disease from ICD10.

Phillip: we think now if you load the terms into your SHRINE client you can
now query us for tumor registry stuff blended with EMR variables.

Would love your feedback so we can start letting people collaborate around
cancer and then upload their registries and really streamline feasibility for
people,
