Hi Everyone. FYI and provides perhaps a sense of scope for the CDM effort
during the continuation budget period,

Subject: CDM v6 draft specification for comment

Dear PCORnet Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the draft specification for CDM v6 is now
available for comment. CDM v6 incorporates 1 new table (LAB_HISTORY),
deprecates another (VITAL), adds or modifies several fields in existing tables
and incorporates updates to the Implementation Guidance.

As with previous versions of the CDM, we are seeking feedback and comments from
the network. We have provided a structured form to capture this information
based on what was used in CDM v5.We have listed a series of targeted questions,
along with opportunities for more open-ended responses on the CDM value sets,
new tables, new fields in existing tables, etc. Both the draft CDM
specification and comment form can be found on iMeet
here<https://pcornet.imeetcentral.com/p/ZgAAAAAAyEyZ>.

We ask that interested parties please provide any additional feedback to
dr...@pcornet.org<mailto:dr...@pcornet.org> using the comment form posted on
iMeet by the end of the day on September 25. We will use this feedback to make
any necessary modifications to the CDM specification before it is presented to
the PCORnet Steering Committee in October.

Thanks!

Keith Marsolo on behalf of the DRN OC
