It runs at a usable speed rather than a hopeless speed. that's the advantage.
That's on the hardware I've got, on which even kqemu was too bloody sloow.
I haven't tried Wine yet.  
Really interesting is that the system can now go laptop, PDA or selfcontained 
on USB stick and run courtesy of someone else's windows hardware eg at the 
nursing home, and leaving no trace.
