We can drastically diminish some of the Javascript libraries (eg redbox) if performance becomes an issue. Just try the following: http://anansi.homeip.net:3000 user tester pwd tester use Firefox and click on "new news" at the bottom of the page. The Javascript loading for the WYSIWYG editor is a lot heavier & more than for the appointments. It is running on a Via Epia 800MHz with 128kb RAM - but in my INtranet via a 10 MBit connection it loads instantly without any delay (if it has been loaded at least once previously that browser session) How does it perform from the distance? (please all - do not wantonly deface this test site; I am using it for demo purposes) Horst _______________________________________________ Gpcg_talk mailing list [email protected] http://ozdocit.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gpcg_talk
