It's laughably easy to write a rule for Mail.app which means you never see these messages on arrival.

While my original post was only tongue in cheek, it takes about the same effort to:

1) Turn the reminder off;
2) Write a rule for it in Mail.app;
3) Just unsubscribe all together.

What I'd love though is when signing up through the web interface to have the option "[x] No thanks, I need no password and most certainly not a monthly reminder of it" without having to log in or anything. And when signing up through email, have it default to no password reminder; If one can figure out how to sign up through email, they can figure out how to unsubscribe using email too (especially since Mailman includes a ton of headers with every post with this information too).

Okies, that's my 4 cents worth... end of discussion from this side :)
