You are using the wrong hash (md5 instead of sha-1)

The command should be 'openssl sha1 /path/to/MacGPG2-2.0.17-9.zip' (without the
quotes).

Subject: [gpgtools-users] Wrong checksum for MacPGP2

Hey there,

i downloaded MacPGP2 Version 2.0.17-9 and ran the terminal to proof the
checksum, but they are not identical.
Your site says:

Checksum: 147c7910fe5ced9148a8a02d1046c991a7790919 (SHA-1).

My terminal says:

openssl md5 .../MacGPG2-2.0.17-9.zip
MD5(/Users/.../MacGPG2-2.0.17-9.zip)= 36dec9b2b7f24234a2286d736397d8e9

Unfortunately that's all chinese to me... if you know what i mean.
What's wrong with the download? And can I do now?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Roman
