The Log of the application when the button Transfer is clicked

Hi there,

I have just bought an IPOD Nano 4th generation(latest) to replace my previous
Ipod (2nd generation) due to a hardware failure of the latter.

For the last couple of months I have been using gpodder for all my podcasts
needs and it worked beautifully and with no hassle.

Unfortunately though I tried to use the new Ipod nano 4g with gtkpodder and
failed miserably giving me the following message.

----
Cannot open device

There has been an error opening your device.

----

The ipod nano is mounted on "/media/IPOD". I removed all the settings as
described in the FAQ e.g. (rm -rf $HOME/.config/gpodder) and started again. In
the Preferences and in the device section I chose Ipod and point it to
/media/IPOD". Unfortunately I am keep getting the same message when I click the
Transfer button in the toolbar.

Some observations:
- The Ipod nano is formatted using Fat32 fs in a Windoz Machine using ITunes.
- I can see the files in the IPOD both in Nautilus and in the console (ls
/media/IPOD gives back results).
- I have successfully uploaded music using SongBird, Rhythmbox and gtkpod
- I am using the latest Ubuntu 8.10 with the gtkpodder installed from the
repository. The version is 0.13.1

I can use the gtkpod temporally for my podcast needs but unfortunately unlike
gtkpodder, gtkpod doesn't set both the podcast picture and the shownotes which
is kind of bummer.

I have attached the log of the application till the moment I choose Trasfer.
The command that accomplished that was "gpodder --verbose >gpodder_log.txt
2>&1" (It was suggested in the development mailing list of gpodder)

Let me know if you need more information.

Regards,
Christos
