It seems the gpodder.org domain was down for at least few minutes at least
about half an hour ago. I was using the my.gpodder.org feature to try to login
for the first time. While I was able to register, logging in simply came back
to the login screen or resulted in 'invalid username or password'-style
response.
It would be better if this could be caught and an appropriate response
presented instead (i.e. 'Unable to contact my.gPodder.org at the moment, please
try again later'. As I hadn't used this feature before, I wasn't sure what to
expect and this would also be confusing for other new users.
When I checked, www.gpodder.org was down, but my.gpodder.org worked, in case
this combination was the reason for the strange results.
Both are obviously back up now, as I'm able to log this bug :)
