Summary: Upon upgrading to 0.15.1, all old podcast links are
broken when Experimental File Naming was enabled.
Product: gPodder
Version: 0.15.0
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: feature request
Priority: medium
Component: Application
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
I upgraded to 0.15.1 from 0.14.1 on Xubuntu 8.10, and had experimental file
naming enabled. Upon upgrading to 0.15.1 with the .deb files on the website and
opening gPodder, it first prompted me to download about fifteen really old
podcasts from the GoNintendo podcast (December 2008, and I refused to
download), and then marked every podcast in all 11 feeds with a Music Note with
a red X symbol next to it and the option to download it after right clicking on
it. I'd guess that having experimental file naming on is what's caused the
problem, right? Not really that big (they're still on my iPod, and that's what
counts) but rather annoying.
