--- Comment #6 from Thomas Perl <[email protected]> 2011-03-08 11:34:15 GMT --- (In reply to comment #5) > Yes, it is detected as not modified: In this case, there is little that gPodder can do about this (the server is "lying", because it says "no, not modified" when gPodder asks). What you can do as a workaround, is create a hooks script that sets the etag and last modified timestamp to NULL. You can do this with "on_podcast_updated" in the hooks script, and you basically have do this: if podcast.url.endswith('wdr2kabarett.xml'): podcast.etag = None podcast.last_modified = None podcast.save() This will cause gPodder to reload (and re-parse) the feed every time. You will find a template for the hooks script and instructions on how to install it in "doc/dev/examples/hooks.py" in the source tarball. Please confirm whether or not this fixes your issue (and if you have any remaining questions). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.gpodder.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes. _______________________________________________ gPodder-Bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/gpodder-bugs
