As Stefan mentioned, using Folders would be optional. The screenshot I referred 
to makes it look like a base folder is mandatory but its not. Many RSS Readers 
have this feature (Miro, Liferea, FeedDemon)
The changes to the OPML are pretty straightforward, it's taking that info and 
creating the treeview that I'm having problems with (no pyGTK experience)

There are quite a few hassles I have with so many subscriptions (waiting for 
the feeds to update on startup, checking every feed for updates when a single 
feed is added or deleted, keeping track of recent downloads) but the folders 
thing, for me at least, would be a huge improvement to one of the best 
podcatchers I've come across.
